We process fresh tomatoes a few hours after harvesting.
We process a large part of Victoria tomato products in the five production sites of our group located in Northern Italy, the core of the tomato area (Parma, Piacenza and Cremona), where we gather the production of chopped tomatoes, crushed tomato, strained tomatoes, concentrates and tomato sauces.
70 production lines are operating within in the five sites, able to process 850.000 tons of fresh tomatoes per year: which is the largest production capacity in Italy.
The raw material is directly supplied by 800 agricultural entrepreneurs all members of the group, and is grown on 12.000 hectares dedicated to tomatoes, creating a real integrated supply chain.
We process fresh tomatoes a few hours after harvesting, thanks to the proximity of our fields to the production sites (50 km of average distance of fields from the plant).
In Southern Italy we concentrate the processing of tomatoes, produced with long tomatoes (peeled tomatoes) and some other varieties, such as cherry tomatoes and San Marzano, grown in the areas traditionally most suited to tomatoes: Agro-Nocerino and Puglia.
For all productions processed in the factories of our group we can ensure a complete and actual supply chain, from the seed to the finished product. Therefore, we guarantee the complete traceability of the supply chain made stronger and integrated by the fact that the tomato suppliers are also members of the group.
We offer 100% Italian tomatoes, without any compromise. In order to guarantee our commitment to continuous improvement, our group has obtained the most important product and supply chain certifications, but also join to voluntary standards.
Also our co-packers have the most important international certifications (BRC / IFS).
We select them through a meticulous evaluation process, not only in terms of production procedures, but also considering ethics and sustainability and we keep them periodically monitorized.
